Once each year, if your Fainting Goat qualifies (click on link to left for rules on Fainting Goat Guild website) he/she can compete against other Champion Fainting goats in your region of the United States
A Regional Champion is the overall Champion Fainting Goat Buck, Doe and Wether in a given region of the United States for the Fainting Goat Guild in any given year.
Each year the FGG Western Regionals are held at a different show site for each region. This year, the RMFGA show series is honored to be hosting the Western Regionals at our show over Labor Day. It will be held Friday, August 31, 2018. See the schedule tab for more specific information.

This year the RMFGA will be hosting three full FGG shows (wethers, does and bucks). One is in Malad in June, the other two are in conjunction with the RMFGA show in Logan, Utah on September 1, 2018.
The goal of the Fainting Goat Guild is to give fainting goat communities across the United States the chance to put on a show in their neighborhood. There are Regional Championships each year, and there are points accumulated to annual High Point Awards. Fainting goats do not have to be registered, but have to meet the standards of the breed, and be able to demonstrate a pure lineage.
The Fainting Goat Guild has a strong focus on youth education and showmanship. There is no membership to join the FGG youth program, and all youths are encouraged to participate. High point awards are given out each year, and an emphasis is put on educating the youth, including showmanship clinics, a youth education portion of the website, and fun activities for youth members all year long.
